Nao had yet to be late for a single meeting he'd attended, and this wasn't about to be the exception. He'd never felt impatient to get home before, though - that feeling was entirely new. Still, no one would have guessed he'd felt anything like it judging by his countenance.

In fact, it probably looked like he was almost too happy to be here. He'd even curled his hair just for this occasion. There was no point in being shy about one's good looks, as far as he was concerned... even if it made some of his coworkers think he was a peacock.

He peeked into the conference room he'd been told about, and stepped in to find his place in the mess. Thankfully, he was relatively used to chaos; this kind of a setup would be a neat freak's worst nightmare. Making sure to not trip or step on cables (or anything else) in his way, Nao seated himself in the first available seat he could get to.

Fifteen minutes after everyone had gathered, the door to the room snapped open. A man in a white lab coat barreled in, holding the latest edition of Mine Systems laptops.

“Let’s get to business.” he said.

He wore a clean, but wrinkled, cotton shirt tucked beneath buckled, grey levis, worn black sneakers, and a pair of square, thin-framed glasses, which he quickly fixed back into place.

From the doorway to the far end of the rectangular conference table was a short walk and yet, the man sped through it with vigor, laughing, “I’ve got him this time.” And scowling, “That rapscallion. Thinks he’s all that.”

The table echoed as he spread his laptop on the edge and typed what sounded like several dozen strings of words per second. Two tall rods, each positioned at one corner of the room behind him, came alive with a soft tling and zwoom. A holographic screen stretched between them and took up the entire wall.

“See here!” the man placed his arms to each side of his hips and laughed whilst the screen became littered with images of what appeared to be screenshots of The World. Each screenshot had a different viewpoint to it, as if the person looking through the lens was different every time. And each screenshot was attached to a word document.

“You’ve made a fool of me once...maybe twice, but thrice? Don’t even think about it! It took some time, but I found his pattern and it was actually so simple...”

The man turned around and paused at the assortment of confused faces. Then he saw Kenta, way back in the corner seat, his face full of black lines, signaling him. He poked at his chest persistently…

“Ah. I don’t think all of us have met before. My name is Rukishi Hiro.” said the Director of Programming of CC Corp. “Please, call me Hiro. There’s no need to hold back just because I’m your boss. We are but fellow countrymen of The World.”

Rukishi smiled brilliantly, shining his teeth particularly at that corner as if to say ‘Look at this humble self’ but Kenta pretended not to see.

“Great. Now that we’ve acquainted ourselves…”

Kenta signaled at him again.

“...is there anything any of you would like to report first?”

It looked like it was time for a brief introduction. He decided to take a page out of Graham's book, after letting him go about his reporting.

My, but he deals with a bunch of minor annoyances. Familiar, that.

"I'm Nao. I've been handling bug fix reports and graphics-related issues." He stated, while taking his folder out from his bag and opening it so he could leaf through the files he'd brought with himself. Somehow, he doubted he had any new information to give to... Hiro. But he may as well report what he's been dealing with before they move on to the real business.

"I'm afraid my report isn't going to be much more illuminating. An entire building turned invisible in Dol Dona due to hastily pushed assets. A group of NPCs and one player got stuck under that one bridge in Mac Anu again, but according to Ito that should finally be fixed for good. Hm..."

Nao shifted the papers around. "An entire field in the Delta server was rapidly shifting between the colors of the rainbow. A short investigation later, it turned out that was a piece of joke code someone left lying around. I reported that to the team responsible, and was told the matter got resolved. Right. Speaking of fields."

He closed his folder, putting it onto his lap. For a moment, he wondered if this was even worth bringing up, but he supposed it would (probably) not kill him to do so.

"I was at Delta Hidden Forbidden Bulwark before it went down. It was fine before I left, though, so I'm afraid I've got no insight to give there, besides the fact that there was... a somewhat odd NPC present. I wished to look more into that before submitting a report over it, but then the field went down and I heard it was already being looked into."

Alex smiled at the other two men and gave a slight nod. "I would be glad to let someone more experienced take the lead on this, I personally was hoping that one of you would be willing to assist me on the matter." He didn't mind if someone more experienced wanted to take the lead on it, honestly he wasn't that surprised. This may be something serious and no one wanted a brand new person figuring it out and getting all the credit for it. Besides if something happened or was waiting for them there than it would be great to have back up facing whatever it is. Besides as a Wavemaster it was always a good idea to go into a possible battle situation with a front liner or two. He was a bit bummed only one would be joining him on the investigation but it was one more person than he had planned on having when he went into the area. "Actually yes, I saved the logs from the fix and the conversation. I can send it to you all so you have it yourself. The player name is also saved, so if need be we can track him down and discuss more of the events that happened."
